We are always looking for the BEST talent in our area. If you are interested in working with our team, please send an email to autoartsinc@yahoo.com with a bio of yourself, experience, hours available, photo’s of example work, and a good phone number to reach you at. We keep all job inquiries on hand for 12 months and they are our GO TO when ready to hire additional staff. We hire GREEN to PLATINUM tech’s, so if you are right out of school and have a passion for the craft or if you have 25 years experience, we want to hear from you.

Do you offer a Military Discount? 2017-10-19T18:11:52+00:00

    Absolutely!!

Can you store my vehicle for me while I am out of town? 2017-10-19T18:11:03+00:00

No, we schedule our work so that EVERY car is able to fit into the building at night. 95% of the time we are at full capacity and do not have room for vehicle storage.

Do you keep parts on hand such as wheels, tires, HID kits, LED’s, Suspension, etc.? 2017-10-19T18:09:59+00:00

No, we do not. Due to limited space we order parts as needed. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your project. We like to have parts ordered before the car arrives so that they are here before your car gets here.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my project with you? 2017-10-19T18:07:36+00:00

This varies a great deal depending on what time of year it is and how busy we are. Collision jobs do not typically require more 1-5 days notice. Special projects may require more. March – September are our busy months and you should try to schedule as far in advance as you can. Oct-Feb are typically slower months and do not require but a week or so of notice. If you are unsure, please contact us to review the shop schedule with your own in order to make the best decision.

Do you handle insurance/collision repairs? 2018-02-13T01:23:16+00:00

Yes! We are more than happy to help you in the repair needed to your vehicle. Although we are not a Direct Repair Shop (meaning we have not signed any agreements with the insurance companies to follow their rules and that they will not refer us to you) we do deal with the the insurance companies and have established healthy relationships with many of the field adjuster’s. We work for YOU not the insurance company. We can handle your repair in a timely manner and deal with any supplemental issues that arise. We also guarantee our work the same way the insurance company does by using their preferred shop. You are not required to use the Repair Shop that your insurance company recommends. We suggest getting several estimates and deciding which shop best suites your personal needs and the needs of your repair.

What are my Payment Options? 2017-10-19T18:02:07+00:00

We accept checks, debit cards, credit cards, cash, money orders, PayPal, and certified checks or teller checks. We accept VISA, DISCOVER, and MASTERCARD. Please NOTE: on larger projects where total payments over $3000.00 will be made we ask that you please pay with a check, PAYPAL, or cash to help us avoid the costly fees associated with taking those payments by the credit card vendors. Being a small shop, avoiding those fees helps us to keep cost down and operate more effectively.

How are payments arranged on large projects? 2017-10-19T17:57:25+00:00

Larger projects take some time. Generally we request a deposit to cover your parts, materials needed, and two weeks of labor. We will discuss payments with you and try to work with your schedule as best as possible. Some customers pay weekly, some bi-weekly, some monthly, some all at once. This is not written in stone anywhere and can be adjusted as needed along the way.

Why is it so expensive to paint my car? 2017-10-19T17:55:52+00:00

While it is well known that we are not the least expensive paint shop in the area, we like to think of the old saying, “you get what you pay for”. Our paint process is done 100% exactly how it should be. Your car is taken apart, prepped properly, painted in stages (jams.roof/doors/car/small parts) then put back together properly. It is then wet sanded and buffed with extreme detail. You then are given a warranty on your paint job for the life of the car.

How much is it to paint my car? 2017-10-19T17:52:23+00:00

This can vary a great deal depending on several factors. What type of car you own, what color it currently is, what color do you want it to be, do the jams need to be painted, what type of paint, is there any body work needed, and how quickly do you need it back. A smaller paint job in our shop will start around $5000 for a four door sedan with no body work needed staying the same color. Time frames can vary from 2-8 weeks depending on the above mentioned factors.

How long does it take to receive my estimate once my car has been reviewed? 2017-10-19T17:49:37+00:00

This can vary from 5 min’s to a few days depending on how detailed the estimate is and how busy the studio is. Mike does all of the estimates here and generally does them in the evening provided he is not working on the floor. Please allow him at least 5 days on larger estimates. Generally, Sunday nights he is able to finish all of his estimates for the week and they are emailed out first thing Monday mornings. Collision Estimates generally do not take more than 15 min.

Do I need an appointment for an estimate? 2017-10-19T17:49:31+00:00

In most cases no you do not. You are welcome to stop by the studio whenever it is convenient for you during normal business hours. If you are in need of an estimate for a re-build/restoration, we recommend that you make an appointment and schedule at least an hour of your time for your visit.
